About the Event

Madhyasthta the ADR cell of New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) is organizing its first-panel discussion, which will be a flagship event on the topic. Judicial Intervention: An aid or barrier to Arbitration in India?
While the Indian judiciary is known as one of the oldest judicial systems dealing with a wide range of cases, it has also been the cause of several issues with respect to the access to justice. The loss in faith in the judiciary and the inability of the court systems to render the promised justice, people look to alternative mechanisms of dispute resolution. Arbitration is one such mechanism.

The Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2019 brought in various changes in the dispute resolution scenario of the country with respect to a time limit. We look forward to provide the student from all over the country to learn from various reputed speakers in the same field of law.
