AIBE XXI Result

On 18 July 2026, the Bar Council of India (BCI) announced the result of the All India Bar Examination XXI (AIBE XXI), which was conducted on 7 June 2026.

Key Highlights:

  1. The AIBE XXI was conducted on 7 June 2026 across 292 examination centres located in 60 cities across the country.

  2. A total of 1,75,701 candidates appeared in the examination.

  3. Of the candidates who appeared:

    • Male: 1,10,909

    • Female: 64,784

    • Transgender: 8

  4. The examination was conducted under the supervision of the AIBE Monitoring Committee headed by former Supreme Court Judge Justice Hima Kohli.

  5. The qualifying marks for AIBE XXI were originally fixed at 45 marks for General candidates and 40 marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates out of 100 marks.

  6. After reviewing the question paper and result summary, the Monitoring Committee decided to moderate the results by reducing the qualifying marks by three marks.

  7. The overall pass percentage in AIBE XXI stood at 65.92%, with 1,15,805 of the 1,75,701 candidates who appeared in the examination qualifying.

  8. Out of 1,75,701 candidates who appeared for AIBE XXI, 59,876 did not qualify the examination, while 20 malpractice cases remain pending decision.

  9. BCI has also announced the dates for AIBE XXII Examination which will be conducted on 29 November 2026.
