Karnataka Notifies AAG Appointments

On 19 June 2026, the Government of Karnataka has announced the appointment of two advocates as Additional Advocate Generals for representing the State before the Supreme Court of India (SC).

The following advocates have been appointed to the position of Additional Advocate General, Supreme Court:

  • Mr. Kunal Vajani

  • Mr. Omar Hoda

These appointments have been made under Article 162 of the Constitution of India and shall take effect immediately, continuing until further orders.
