Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) advised an entity of the founders of Greenko Group in relation to its participation in the USD 60 million pre-series C2 round of investment raised by Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited (“Skyroot”) through subscription of compulsorily convertible preference shares in Skyroot. The round was co-led by Sherpalo Ventures and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC, and also saw participation from BlackRock, Arkam Ventures, Playbook Partners, Shanghvi Family Office, and existing investors.
Skyroot is India’s leading private space launch company engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and commercialization of space and aerospace products, including satellite launch vehicles and on-demand satellite launch services through its Vikram-I and Vikram-II rockets, as well as the design, manufacture and testing of advanced aerospace technologies for domestic and international applications in the space sector.
