Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised KONE Corporation on Indian law aspects of its combination with TK Elevator

May 1, 2026, Mumbai: Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas is advising KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry (headquartered in Espoo, Finland), as the Indian legal counsel for assisting on Indian law aspects in connection with its landmark agreement to combine with TK Elevator (TKE), a portfolio company of a consortium led by Advent International and Cinven. The combination creates the world’s largest elevator company by revenue, with a combined installed base of over 2.5 million units across more than 70 countries. This is the largest transaction in the history of Finland and represents the biggest European private equity exit till date. Completion is subject to certain conditions and approvals. The transaction was led by Mohit Gogia, Partner; with support from Anisha Dash and Mehar Kaur, Senior Associates.
