Madras High Court directs State to constitute District Medical Board for issuing medical certificates for undergoing surrogacy
While the constitutionality of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021 is pending consideration before the Supreme Court, Madras High Court noted that even those who are eligible under the Act are not able to have their treatment procedures done because the authorities concerned are unaware of the procedures to be followed.
