BCI Releases Draft Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2026; Invites Suggestions Till 31 July
BCI has released the Draft Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2026, proposing significant changes relating to advocate welfare, legal education, law firms, women’s representation, enrolment procedures and regulation of foreign lawyers. Stakeholders have been invited to submit suggestions by 31 July 2026.
