National Conference on Tribal Identity Governance and Justice

The Centre for Tribal and Cultural Studies (CTCS), Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla invites original abstracts for the National Conference on “Recognition, Rights and Realities: Tribal Identity, Governance and Justice in Contemporary India”, scheduled to be held online on 28 March 2026.

The Conference aims to foster interdisciplinary academic engagement on issues relating to tribal identity, governance, justice mechanisms, constitutional developments, legal pluralism, autonomy, resource rights and socio-economic transformations affecting tribal and indigenous communities in India.
