About the Organisers-
Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The headquarters and main campus of MANUU is located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana State, over an area of 200 acres. The University is named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the freedom fighter and outstanding scholar, who as the first Education Minister of Independent India envisioned and laid the foundation of technical, scientific and higher education in India. University last year Started MANUU Law School which aims to explore and identify novel areas of law and policy through relentless engagement in developing legal theory and practice, academic potential, critical analytical ability and advocacy skills so as to fully equip the students with a learning which is intellectually stimulating, socially vital and professionally enriching. It has adopted a multidisciplinary approach towards legal education and develops a positive attitude in students to make them realize that the lawyers are an integral part of the system of adjudication, determination of policies and setting up of standards for regulation of various activities through relevant institutions. MANUU Law School currently offers 5 Years B.A. LL.B (Hons)**, 3- Years LL.B**, 2 Years M.A. (Legal Studies), One Year LL.M (with 6 specializations) and Ph.D. (Law) programmes.

The Competition involves AI/ IPR with a focus on the AI inventorship and authorship rights under patent and copyright law, addressing whether AI systems can be legal creators. It also covers territorial jurisdiction issues, copyright infringement through AI training on scraped data, and civil procedure regarding maintainability and remedies in commercial disputes involving AI-generated works.
Eligibility
The Competition shall be open for the students who duly enrolled and are pursuing an integrated 5 years or 3 years Law Program in India from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
