Justice Pratibha M. Singh Cambridge Scholarship

Md. Sabeeh Ahmad, a B.A.LL.B. graduate from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has secured admission to the LL.M. program at the University of Cambridge and has been awarded the prestigious Justice Pratibha M. Singh scholarship.

The Prathiba M. Singh Cambridge Scholarship provides financial support for talented Indian students seeking to pursue an LLM at the University of Cambridge who demonstrate interest in Intellectual Property Law, have a clear intention to build a legal career in India, and a genuine need for financial assistance.

Sabeeh is presently leading a research project on Intellectual Property at the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR). His prior experience includes working as an analyst at SpicyIP and serving as a judicial intern under Hon’ble Mr. Justice Krishna Murari and Hon’ble Ms. Justice Pratibha M. Singh. He has also interned with reputed legal institutions including Diwan Advocates, Dua Associates, Rab & Rab Associates LLP, and Azure Power, gaining diverse exposure across litigation, policy, and corporate sectors.

On campus, Sabeeh is widely recognized for his leadership and dedication. He served as the Secretary of the AMU Law Society during the 2023—24 term and previously held the post of Secretary of AMU’s prestigious University Debating & Literary Club, inspiring his peers through active involvement in both academic and co-curricular spheres.
