Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal counsel for SkyPower Group of entities. The transaction involves acquisition of 100% equity shares and compulsorily convertible debentures of SkyPower Solar India Private Limited (“SkyPower“) by Inox Neo Energies Private Limited (“Inox“).
SkyPower is engaged in the business of owning and operating a 50 MW solar power plant at Chirwel, Khandwa, in the State of Madhya Pradesh, India.
The transaction was led by Ramanuj Kumar, Partner (Co-Head – Projects (Energy & Energy Transition)); Manasvini Raj, Partner; with the support from Sushmitha Ramkumar, Associate.
The transaction was signed on 31st May, 2025 and closed on 30th June, 2025.
