The Moot Court Committee, IFIM Law School, Bengaluru, is pleased to invite registrations for the Antrix—IFIM 5th National Moot Court Competition, 2026, to be held from September 25 to 27, 2026 at the IFIM Law School campus, Bengaluru.
Entering its fifth edition, the competition has established itself as a distinguished national platform for legal research, written advocacy, and courtroom excellence. This year’s edition focuses on Space Law, bringing together law students from across the country to deliberate upon one of the fastest-evolving domains of international legal practice and policy.
A defining highlight of this edition is the collaboration with Antrix Corporation Limited, the commercial and marketing arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The competition is further strengthened by the support of SCC Online and SCC Times as the Knowledge & Media Partner, reinforcing its commitment to meaningful engagement with the legal fraternity.
Over the years, the IFIM National Moot Court Competition has addressed some of the most significant emerging areas of law, including Cryptocurrency & Smart Contracts (2022), Constitutional Law (2023), Competition Law in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India (2024), and Human Rights, Deepfakes & Digital Privacy in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission (2025). Previous editions have witnessed participation from leading law schools across India and have been adjudicated by eminent judges, senior advocates, regulators, partners of premier law firms, and distinguished academicians.
The fifth edition promises another intellectually rigorous advocacy experience, featuring memorial rounds, oral arguments before experienced legal professionals, elimination rounds, and the Grand Finale. Participants will compete for a prize pool exceeding ₹2 lakhs, including ₹90,000 for the Winning Team, ₹70,000 for the Runner-up Team, individual awards for Best Speaker, Best Researcher, and Best Memorials, along with three complimentary one-year subscriptions to SCC Online Web Edition for the members of the Winning Team.
Law schools and universities across India are cordially invited to nominate their teams and participate in a competition that seeks to prepare the next generation of legal professionals for the emerging challenges of space governance and international legal regulation.
