We are pleased to announce the 2nd NLIU – Chandhiok & Mahajan Article Writing Competition, 2025, organized by the NLIU Law Review in collaboration with Chandhiok & Mahajan, Advocates and Solicitors. Established in 1997, the National Law Institute University (NLIU) in Bhopal is among India’s premier legal institutions, recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and legal scholarship.

About NLIU Law Review:

The NLIU Law Review is the flagship double blind peer-reviewed academic journal of NLIU, published biannually. Having completed fifteen successful years and over twenty-five editions, the journal remains a vital forum for contemporary legal discourse and student research.

Details of the Competition:

The NLIU – Chandhiok & Mahajan Article Writing Competition offers law students an invaluable platform to demonstrate their research and writing skills while engaging with topical legal issues. Highlights of the competition include:

  • Participation: Open to individual authors or co-authorships (limited to two authors).

  • Theme: No thematic restrictions; submissions must address contemporary legal issues.

  • Awards and Recognition:

    1. Winners: Internship opportunity at Chandhiok & Mahajan and a cash prize of ₹5,000/-

    2. 1st Runners-Up: Internship opportunity at Chandhiok & Mahajan and ₹3,000/-

    3. 2nd Runners-Up: Internship opportunity at Chandhiok & Mahajan and ₹2,000/-

  • Publication: The top three manuscripts will be considered for publication in Volume XV Issue II of the NLIU Law Review, subject to compliance with submission guidelines. The top ten authors will receive certificates of merit.

Deadline for Submission: 11:59 PM on 7 January, 2026.
