As part of the 9th Foundation Day celebrations, Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, successfully organized a series of engaging literary events, Flash in Five, Spin a Tale, and Wall of Words, on September 26, 2025. These events were conducted under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of HPNLU. Initiated by Dr. Ruchi Raj Thakur, Assistant Professor of English, the event was coordinated in close collaboration with the Student Enrichment Cell, chaired by Dr. Sarita.
The literary competitions saw enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their creativity, spontaneity, and literary flair. Flash in Five challenged participants to compose stories in just five minutes, while Spin a Tale encouraged collaborative storytelling, and Wall of Words offered students a platform to express their thoughts on nature through poetry. The remarkable imagination, insight, and depth of expression displayed by the students not only highlighted their literary talents but also reflected the vibrant intellectual spirit of HPNLU’s student community.
The 9th Foundation Day celebrations at HPNLU are being marked with great enthusiasm and excitement, providing students an opportunity to engage in meaningful intellectual and creative expression.
