The K.K. Luthra & Nirmal Luthra Centre for Comparative Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Studies, O.P. Jindal Global University, is pleased to invite submissions for its forthcoming peer-reviewed journal on Comparative Criminal Law and Criminal Justice.
Established under the auspices of the Centre and supported by the visionary endowment of Mr. Siddharth Luthra, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, the journal seeks to provide a rigorous, interdisciplinary, and globally engaged platform for comparative scholarship. At a time when crime, justice, and accountability increasingly transcend national boundaries, the journal aims to bridge theory and practice through cutting-edge research, critical commentary, and policy-relevant analysis.

The journal welcomes original and unpublished contributions engaging with comparative perspectives on criminal law and criminal justice, including but not limited to:

Articles (8,000—12,000 words): Full-length scholarly research papers

Essays / Notes (4,000—6,000 words): Critical commentary on legal developments or policy debates

The word limit is inclusive of footnotes but excludes the abstract.

All submissions will undergo editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review

The journal follows strict anti-plagiarism standards. Manuscripts with similarity above 10% (excluding quotations) will be rejected.

AI-generated or AI-assisted manuscripts are strongly discouraged as per UGC guidelines (level 0).

The submission must be accompanied with a cover letter which must include: Names and affiliation of all authors, Contact details, and Title and category of submission.

The Editorial Board may request revisions or reject submissions not meeting academic standards.

The deadline for submissions has been extended and the new deadline is 15th April 2026.
The journal accepts both single-authored and co-authored submissions. Co-authored manuscripts may have up to the two. All authors must have made a substantial contribution to the work and must consent to the submission.
The journal welcomes contributions from students, practitioners, and policymakers across jurisdictions and seeks to foster an international community committed to justice, equity, and reform.
