KL College of Law, Guntur is organising 5th KL Memorial Inter-University Moot Court Competition 2026 on 3-5 April. The last date of registration is 15th March 2026.
*Teams securing 90% or above in Memorial Evaluation (made in pursuance of the best memorial prize) will receive a full refund of the Registration Fee paid.
DETAILS OF THE EVENT:
The Fifth KL Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2026 will be conducted in an intensive three-day format at KL College of Law, bringing together distinguished academicians, seasoned advocates, and law students from leading institutions across the country.
The competition will commence with an inaugural ceremony followed by preliminary rounds, where participating teams will argue from both sides of the proposition. Based on cumulative scores, qualifying teams will advance to the octa finals, quarterfinals, semi-finals, and the Grand Finale, adjudicated by an eminent bench comprising senior legal practitioners and subject experts.
In addition to oral rounds, memorials submitted by the teams will be evaluated on research depth, structure, articulation, and legal reasoning. The event will also feature structured draw of lots, strict adherence to procedural rules, and a transparent scoring system to ensure fairness and professionalism. Awards will be conferred for Best Memorial, Best Student Oralist (Female) and Best Student Oralist (Male), Best Researcher, and the Winning and Runners-Up Teams, recognizing both individual brilliance and team excellence.
ELIGIBILITY:
The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bona fide on a regular basis in an undergraduate Law course (5 years Integrated Law course/ 3 Year L.L.B Course) or its equivalent, conducted by any recognized Institution/ College/ University of any State and a maximum of three (3) teams per College/University shall be permitted.

FEE DETAILS:
Early Bird Registration: ₹1,500 per team (excluding food and accommodation)
Regular Registration: ₹2,000 per team (excluding food and accommodation)
Accommodation & Food: ₹6,000 per team (inclusive of food), payable on campus.
REGISTRATION/SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Teams are required to complete the registration process by filling out the online registration form available through the official link provided by the Organising Committee. Upon successful registration, teams must submit their memorials in accordance with the guidelines prescribed in the Rulebook.
All communications relating to the competition, including clarifications regarding the moot proposition, shall be carried out strictly through the official email ID of the Organising Committee. Clarifications issued from time to time shall form an integral part of the moot proposition and shall be binding on all participating teams.
