The ILS Debating Society is delighted to share that the 14th Justice V. M. Tarkunde National Parliamentary Debate, held from 13th to 15th February, 2026 at ILS Law College, Pune, concluded on a truly memorable note.
Over three days, the competition brought together participants from institutions across India including NLUs, IIT Bombay, GLC, SLS Pune, St. Xaviers, College of Engineering Pune etc. and followed the Asian Parliamentary format (3v3), engaging in enthusiastic participation. Over the course of three days, teams competed in the Open and Novice categories, supported by an experienced adjudication panel. The top 6 teams, with the highest number of wins and cumulative speaker scores qualified to the pre semi-finals held on the 15th February 2026. The top 2 novice teams qualified for novice finals held on the same day.
