IIT Kharagpur Labour Codes Certificate Course

The Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSoIPL), IIT Kharagpur, in association with the Centre of Excellence in Public Policy, Law & Governance (CoEPPLG), is organizing an online short-term certificate course on India’s New Labour Codes. The course is designed as a cross-disciplinary, cohort-based learning experience, focusing on both the legal framework and public policy, compliance, and governance perspectives.

IIT Kharagpur (1951) is the first IIT and an Institute of National Importance, boasting a strong interdisciplinary ecosystem that spans science, technology, management, law, and humanities. Programme Overview

This course aims to help participants understand the architecture and practical implications of India’s labour law reforms through the four Labour Codes. It is suitable for learners who want a structured, contemporary understanding of the new labour codes and their relevance for workplaces, compliance, and governance.

Total Duration: 24 hours (16 hours contact + 8 hours guided self-study)
