Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) assisted Bhansali Productions Pvt. Ltd. (“BPPL”) and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in inking a strategic partnership with Saregama India Limited, a listed company of RP-Sanjeev Goenka group (“Saregama”). This deal grants Saregama equity as a significant minority in BPPL as well as exclusive music rights for all future Bhansali films. The deal brings together Bhansali Productions’ film and OTT content capabilities with Saregama’s music and live events business, as the company sharpens its focus on partnerships rather than in-house film production.
