National Policy Challenge 2025

The 1st Round of the competition will be conducted in virtual mode during the first week of November 2025. The Final Round is scheduled to take place on 22nd November 2025 at the Kautilya School of Public Policy, located in Hyderabad.

About the Organizers:

Data Security Council of India (DSCI), an initiative of NASSCOM, is a think tank and industry association focused on data protection, cybersecurity, and privacy. Its mission is to promote a safer cyberspace by driving standards, best practices, and initiatives in these areas. DSCI works closely with governments, regulators, and industry stakeholders on policy advocacy and capacity building. Through research, training, outreach programs, events, and certifications, it strengthens India’s role in the global cybersecurity landscape and fosters a robust security culture.

Kautilya School of Public Policy (KSPP), under the aegis of GITAM (Deemed to be University), is one of India’s leading institutions dedicated to reimagining policymaking education.

DSCI in collaboration with KSPP proudly presents the National Policy Challenge 2025- a dynamic platform for young minds to reimagine policy in the era of Generative AI.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Undergraduate students

  2. Postgraduate students

  3. PhD scholars & researchers

  4. Young professionals from academic and policy institutions across India

Team Formation Rules:

  1. Teams must have 2/3 members

  2. All members should be from the same discipline (Law/ Policy/ Research/ Technology/ Economics)

  3. All members must be from the same institution and school

  4. No interdisciplinary teams allowed

For example: Three students from the School of Law, ABC University would be allowed to form a team of 3 people. However, a mix of Law, Technology, and Economics students would not be allowed.
