In an inspiring initiative led by the Rotaract Club of Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, over 70 students from the nearby Primary Schools of Dhami and Marhog received essential stationery items to aid their education. The event, held under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Vice Chancellor of HPNLU, and coordinated by Dr. Hari Chand Thakur, Club Coordinator, also featured a Poster Making Competition to foster creativity and awareness among young learners. This event underscores the commitment of HPNLU and its Rotaract Club to promote education, creativity, and community engagement.
The stationery drive, which distributed much-needed supplies, sought to alleviate the challenges faced by students in accessing essential educational materials. Additionally, the Poster Making Competition encouraged students to express their creativity, while also instilling values of awareness and social responsibility.
The event was well-received by the students, further reflecting the Rotaract Club’s ongoing dedication to community service and its role in nurturing the holistic development of young minds in the region. The successful organization of the event is a testament to the University’s commitment towards fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and creative learning environment for all.
