In exercise of the power conferred by Article 217(1) of the Constitution, the President appointed the following Judicial Officers as Judges of Allahabad High Court in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices:
(i) Pramod Kumar Srivastava
(ii) Abdul Shahid,
(iii) Santosh Rai,
(iv) Tej Pratap Tiwari and
(v) Zafeer Ahmad
The Ministry of Law and Justice notified the appointments on 4-8-2025. The Supreme Court Collegium on 1-7-2025, had recommended 3 out of the 5 afore-stated names as Judges of Allahabad High Court.
