Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) assisted Adani Energy Solutions Limited (“AESL”) in reviewing, negotiating and finalising a contract with GE Vernova T&D India Limited for design and establishment of 2500 MW ± 500 KV high voltage direct current (“HVDC”) voltage source converter (“VSC”) terminal station (2×1250 MW) for evacuation of renewable power between KPS 3 (Khavda) and South Olpad project ( “Khavda-South Olpad HVDC Project”). With a capacity of 2500 MW, Khavda-South Olpad HVDC Project stands as the highest-rated VSC-based HVDC system envisaged in India to date and is a key initiative in enabling India’s green energy transition by building robust infrastructure for renewable power transmission.
