‘GI Council’ replaces ‘General Insurance Council’ aligning with Section 64 C of the Insurance Act, 1938.

‘Portal’ is introduced as a digital platform developed and managed by the GI Council to facilitate electronic submissions and processing.

District Road Safety Committee and State Road Safety Council are defined with expanded roles.

The amendment substitutes Paragraph 13 with new detailed structure. District committees will now:

Evaluate local implementation and take corrective measures

Maintain month wise statistics in electronic form, including pendency reasons
