The Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), established in 1978 under the auspices of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organisation (AALCO), has appointed Kunal Vajani as a Court Member of its newly constituted Court of Arbitration. The appointment was conferred by H.E. Azalina Othman Said, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), Government of Malaysia.
A former Court Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Paris (2016—2024), Vajani is a well-known domestic and international ADR practitioner. Qualified in Indian law, Common Law and English law, and holding Rights of Audience before the DIFC Courts, Dubai, he brings significant experience in complex commercial and cross-border disputes.
