Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) on 19-09-2025 advised Dassault Aviation, S.A. (“Dassault“) on its India expansion plans, including on:
(i) acquiring a majority stake in Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited (“DRAL“). Following this transaction, DRAL will become the first Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the Falcon series outside France, including the Falcon 6X and Falcon 8X programmes.
(ii) establishing a new entity in India, named Dassault Aviation MRO India Private Limited (“DAMROI“), to undertake maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO“) of defence aircraft in India, and making Dassault the first major defence and aerospace player to have set up a full MRO facility for fighter aircrafts in India.
