The University Law College & Department of Studies in Law, Bangalore University invites law students to participate in the XXX All India Moot Court Competition 2026.

DETAILS OF THE EVENT

The University Law College & Department of Studies in Law, Bangalore University is pleased to announce the XXX All India Moot Court Competition, organized by the Society of Mooters.

The event aims to promote the development of legal research, advocacy, and courtroom skills through simulated court proceedings. It seeks to foster practical legal education while encouraging participants to engage deeply with complex issues at the intersection of constitutional law, personal law, gender justice, religious freedom, and secularism.

The competition brings together students from diverse institutions across India to engage in rigorous legal argumentation on matters of fundamental rights, thereby nurturing the next generation of constitutional lawyers and advocates.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open for students who are studying:

  • LLB three-year course, OR

  • Five-year integrated law programs (BA LLB/BBA LLB/B.Com LLB or equivalent)

    from any law college/department/university recognized by the Bar Council of India during the current academic year.

Team Composition:

  • Each institution may register a maximum of one team

  • Each team shall comprise a minimum of two members and a maximum of three members

  • In a three-member team: two speakers + one researcher

  • In a two-member team: both are speakers, one also serves as researcher

Registration Fee: To be announced

Note: Final registration for the top 32 qualified teams (selected based on memorial scores) will be communicated separately. Formalities for final registration must be completed on or before 11th May 2026.

All information regarding fees and payment details will be provided to qualified teams upon announcement of the top 32 teams on 7th May 2026.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Teams willing to participate in the “XXX All India Moot Court Competition, 2026” are required to complete provisional registration.

Provisional Registration:

Participants must fill and submit the Authorization Letter (provided at the end of the Rule Book), duly signed by the Head of Institution, and upload it through the link below on or before 13th April 2026:

Final Registration:

The maximum number of teams participating shall be 32 teams selected on the basis of Memorial Qualification. The last date for final registration of the 32 qualified teams shall be on or before 11th May 2026. Formalities will be communicated by the Organizing Committee upon announcement of qualified teams.

Registration after the given deadline shall not be accepted under any circumstance.

IMPORTANT DATES

The XXX All India Moot Court Competition, 2026 shall be held from 29th May 2026 to 31st May 2026.
