About The 10th Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad Moot Court Competition, 2026:
Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, is delighted to announce the 10th Moot Court Competition, 2026, a premier mooting event featuring a meticulously drafted hypothetical proposition aimed at testing participants’ advocacy, research, and analytical skills. The competition attracts leading mooting teams from across the country and is judged by an eminent panel from the judiciary, bar, and academia.
The competition boasts a rich legacy of distinguished judicial patronage. Previous editions have been graced by eminent dignitaries including Hon’ble Justice Sri Jasti Chelameswar, Hon’ble Justice Sri Pinaki Chandra Ghose, Hon’ble Justice Shri B.N. Srikrishna, Hon’ble Justice Gyan Sudha Misra, Hon’ble Justice Sri Adarsh Kumar Goel, Hon’ble Justice Sri Rangaswamy Natraj, Hon’ble Justice Anand Venkatesh, Hon’ble Justice Mr. Balbir Singh Chauhan, Hon’ble Justice Ms. Ghandikota Sri Devi, along with renowned legal experts such as Mr. Supratim Chakraborty and Mr. Rodney D. Ryder, underscoring the stature and credibility of the competition.
About The Moot Proposition:
The Moot Proposition for the 10th SLSHMCC, 2026 has been meticulously crafted to address contemporary legal issues arising at the intersection of constitutional principles, data protection, emerging technologies, and intellectual property law. The proposition presents a nuanced factual matrix involving digital education platforms, children’s data, artificial intelligence, and regulatory compliance, requiring participants to engage in rigorous legal analysis and structured argumentation. It is designed to assess participants’ research depth, clarity of reasoning, and ability to apply evolving legal frameworks to complex and novel situations.
Eligibility:
Students duly enrolled in and pursuing a five-year integrated law programme or a three-year undergraduate law programme are eligible to participate in the 10th SLSHMCC, 2026. Each team shall consist of three members, comprising two Speakers and one Researcher. Teams consisting of only two members shall not be eligible to participate in the competition.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee for the competition is INR 8600/- (In words- Rupees Eight Thousand Six Hundred Only) inclusive of GST @18%, which includes accommodation and food for the days of the competition, access to the library, Wi-Fi, and any other facilities provided by the institute at its discretion.

Registration Process:
Institutions intending to participate in the competition are required to complete the Provisional Registration through the link provided (https://forms.gle/sKCo25qqB261D8ea7). Kindly note that provisional registration does not constitute final confirmation of participation.
Upon confirmation of provisional registration, participating institutions will be provided with the necessary details to complete the final registration process, following which the registration fee must be remitted to secure participation in the 10th SLSHMCC, 2026.
