Bombay High Court granted ad-interim relief to a student who cleared Class 10 without science subjects, got admission in science stream in Class 11 and cleared Class 12 and competitive examinations with above average performance, but was denied Class 12 marksheet due to ‘ineligibility’.
The Bombay High Court reasoned that “JEE Main examination is held pan India and thousands, perhaps lakhs, of students participate in the same” while refusing to interfere with the government’s policy decision.
