Virudhaka started as an inter-college sports festival organized by NLIU Bhopal with the aim of fostering sportsmanship and friendly competition among students from across India. Over time, the festival has expanded greatly in size, participation, and range of events. This growth is partly due to the university’s efforts to promote the event within the legal community and beyond. The event succeeds because of the dedication of NLIU students who manage all aspects of the festival including planning, logistics, marketing and execution. Faculty members also provide valuable mentorship and help maintain high standards. What once began as a series of friendly intra-university matches has grown into one of the country’s leading inter-collegiate sports festivals.
