MCS organizes and oversees mooting activities, upholding NMIMS’s high standards while providing a platform for students to enhance their advocacy skills and legal knowledge, along with professionalism and ethics.

Details about the Event

The 1st All India Moot Court Competition, 2026, is one of the very few moot court competitions in India exclusively dedicated to the intersection Personality Rights, Constitutional Rights, and Intellectual Property Law.

Competition Structure

Team Composition and Eligibility

  • Each team may comprise a minimum of two (2) members and a maximum of three (3) members. In case of a two-member team, one of the speakers will be required to undertake the Researcher’s Test.

  • Institutions are required to complete provisional registration at the earliest. Please note that only 32 teams will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Winners: Cash Prize of INR 50,000 + One-year SCC Online Web Edition subscription worth INR 32,000 each + Winners’ Trophy + Certificate of Merit

Runners-Up: Cash Prize of INR 30,000 + Runners-Up Trophy + Certificate of Merit

Best Speaker: Cash Prize of INR 10,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit

Best Researcher: Cash Prize of INR 10,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit

Best Memorial: Cash Prize of INR 10,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit

All participating teams will receive a Certificate of Participation and a one-month SCC Online subscription.
