Red Fort Blast

On 12-11-2025, the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, adopted a resolution on the recent explosion in Delhi.

Expressing deep grief over the alleged terrorist attack near the Red Fort on the evening of 10-11-2025, the Cabinet committed to a thorough investigation and pledged to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Cabinet paid tribute by observing a two-minute silence to honour the innocent lives lost in this tragic event. It extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, and commended the swift, compassionate response of medical personnel and emergency teams who provided critical care.

Condemning the attack as a cowardly and heinous act perpetrated by anti-national forces, the Cabinet directed that the investigation be pursued with utmost urgency and professionalism to ensure the perpetrators, their collaborators, and sponsors are identified and brought to justice without delay.

The Cabinet also acknowledged and appreciated the support received from governments around the world.
