Maharashtra Government renames MNLU, Aurangabad as MNLU, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The amendment has been made vide Maharashtra Act 11 of 2025.

On 1-1-2025, the Maharashtra Government notified the Maharashtra National Law University (Amendment) Act, 2024 to amend the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014. The provisions came into force on 1-1-2025.

Vide this amendment, the name of Maharashtra National Law University (‘MNLU’), Aurangabad has been changed to MNLU, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
