GNLU | International Arbitration Centre (BIAC), Bridge Policy Think Tank in Collaboration with Czech Republic in India organising “Asian Credit Risk Colloquium”

Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC), Bridge Policy Think Tank and Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (GNLU) are jointly organising first of its’ kind, Asian Credit Risk Colloquium from February 8-10, 2020 at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, India. The colloquium is being organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Czech Republic in India. BIAC is a premier international institution which offers institutionalized ADR facilities. Bridge Policy Think Tank is a policy & governance think tank, which regularly engages in advising central and state government ministries, regulators, and social impact organisations in India.

This Colloquium is an attempt to bring together various stakeholders from the banking & financial sector including international organisations, regulators, government bodies, payment and settlement systems to study and analyse the emerging trends of credit risk management in the Asian banking environment, Non-Banking and Financial sector and equip them with tools to develop standard best practices for their respective financial institutions.

The Colloquium will include sessions on various topics including Cyber Security & Credit Risk; Use of Block chains and Artificial Intelligence in Credit Risk Management; Usage of Block chain Technology in Banking; Role of Policy Regulator in Credit Risk Management; Role of regulatory and Legal framework: The Asian Perspective; Interface between healthy Competition and Credit Risk Management; Conflict Management & Credit Risk- Judicial Interpretation and Mandate etc.

The speakers at the colloquium shall include experts from the World Bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Embassy of Czech Republic in New Delhi, etc.

We invite Expression of Interest to constitute Students Organising Committee (OC) for smoothly conducting the Colloquium.  The registration will be accepted till 28th January 2020 (5 p.m.)
