About Centre of Excellence for Cyber Law (CECL)
The Centre of Excellence for Cyber Law is one of the Centre of Excellence of Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies, VIPS-TC. The center has been established as an initiative appraising the ubiquity and dynamics of cyberspace. Recognizing the compelling need of technologically neutral and uniform legal structure dealing with cyberspace and Information Technology, it is a requirement to attain knowledge of cyber law as an indispensable necessity. In the light of the emerging contours of cyberspace, meteoric development in technology, diverse legal frameworks across the globe, the popping controversies surrounding the balancing of interests not only of individuals but also of nations, the Centre functions with a broad objective to explore techno-legal aspects of cyber space and interpret the National and International developments in the field of Cyber law by integration of interdisciplinary approach through awareness, research and training programmes.
About the Event
CECL, VSLLS, VIPS-TC is organising a National Convention on “Responsible Artificial Intelligence: Law and Ethics” on 2nd March, 2024 at VIPS-TC Campus, New Delhi.
This convention aims to provide a platform to all the Academicians, Researchers, Professionals and Students to discuss the need of responsible AI as a precautionary measure in combating the mischievous use of AI. This convention also aims to come out with a code of conduct to be followed by the developers, providers and users of AI systems.
