About Sambhav Initiative 

The Sambhav Initiative is a campaign at the PAN India level that is aimed to promote, facilitate and encourage the people to utilize various methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution. It also provides legal aid services, works towards shattering mental health taboos, endeavors to achieve Goal 16 of SDG (Peace, Justice and Strong Institution), and creates legal literacy among the society with the mission of reach out, rapport, and rescue. It aims to become the voice of the vulnerable, unseen or unheard.

The key projects of the Sambhav Initiative are the Mediation Abhiyaan, the Lok Adalat Abhiyaan , the Mission: Equal Justice and the Free Legal Aid Movement, the Goal 16 of Sustainable Development Goal , the Mental Health Abhiyaan and the Aatam Saksham Bharat Abhiyaan. The initiative is also starting various movements, i.e., ‘प्रतिज्ञा’, Legal Ambulance, ‘विकास का संकल्प’, ‘कोशिश की एक आशा’ and ‘लक्ष्य.

The Sambhav Initiative was inaugurated by Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, Former Chief Justice of India and it’s current  Patron-in-chief and Patron are  Justice C. K. Thakker , Justice M. R. Shah , Justice Kurian Joseph, Former Judges of the Supreme Court of India and govern by many former Judges of various  High Courts respectively .

The Sambhav initiative has also Established the prisoners help desk  and कोशिश की एक आशा Centre at Vadodara Central Jail for Rehabilitation and Reformation of Prisoners and to provide psychological support for their mental well being .

 

About We the People of India Week -2023

The We the People of India Week 2023 is a week-long celebration with day’s name of एक  संविधान  और  एक  हम , स्वंतत्रता  के  संवाद, एक  बुलंद  आवाज़,  धर्म  की  परीभाषा, संस्कृति  से  सर्व  शिक्षा  तक,  एक  कदम  न्याय  की  ओर   on the theme of fundamental rights under the लक्ष्य movement of the Sambhav Initiative from  26th November 2023 to 2nd December 2023 .

The We the People of India Week-2023 will be inaugurate by Justice C.K. Thakker  (Retd.) , Justice G.S. Singhvi (Retd. ), Justice M.R. Shah (Retd. ), Judges of the Supreme Court of India, and Shri Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India, on 26th November 2023.

Day 1- 26th November 2023 at 05:30 P.M. – Inauguration  Ceremony of  2nd Edition of the We the People of India Week-2023 and Session on एक संविधान और एक हम
