About USLLS IEL&IRC
The University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi is delighted to share the commencement of the International Economic Law & International Relations Cell (IEL&IRC). This Cell has been established with the objective of promoting academic and scholarly discussions on the emerging areas of International Economic Law and International Relations. It also aims to generate interests among the students of the Institution on issues of global economic matters and international diplomacy. The increasing interconnectedness of international phenomena due to the increasing significance of cross border communications has rendered the practical and academic use of single disciplined and methodologically incomplete studies obsolete. The cell aims to combine the essential components of International Relations, International Law and International Business. The IEL&IRC recently conducted an Inaugural Lecture on the topic of ‘Changing Paradigms of International Commercial Laws in the New Global Order’, which can be accessed by clicking here.
Among the different objectives of the USLLS IEL&IRC are the following:
-
Sensitization of the students about the rising challenges, opportunities and varied perspectives at global level in the area of International Economic Law and Diplomacy; and;
-
To provide the students with an opportunity to connect their academic learning with the practical aspects of, and conduct and activities that promote academic deliberations on and in the context of International Economic Law and International Diplomacy.
