EBC Publishes — The Reform Decade: Corporate and Commercial Law in India — to mark IndiaCorpLaw Blog’s 10th Anniversary

Kudos to the Editors and the Publishers for taking, not one, but several leaves out of a popular blog. Marked for their clarity and brevity, the assortment of articles, on inter alia the developments in commercial, securities, competition and corporate laws will be a useful addition to any library. Vital aspects of law have been analysed in the context of the contemporaneous judicial and legislative developments; the issues identified; the areas of concern duly flagged; points of view canvassed – all in a way as to liberate the thought for further study and research. A discerning reader could pick several invaluable leads for his or her onward march.

The Reform Decade is indeed an apt title to what has been an incredible decade of developments, the likes of which India has not seen. And rightly so – as India finds its rightful place in the world economy and integrates.

Indian business culture and framework are changing dramatically. India is experiencing a great “reset”. We are moving from a relationship based society to a rules based framework.
