Rouse Avenue, Delhi: The Special Judge (CBI) MK Nagpal dismissed the Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh’s bail plea in Delhi Excise liquor Policy scam.
Sanjay Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on 04-10-2023 and pertaining to allegations of manipulation of formulation and implementation of currently scrapped excise policy of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi for facilitating monopolization and cartelization of liquor trade in Delhi. It was alleged that certain provisions were inserted in the scrapped excise policy to favour other members of cartel in liquor business in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy between several accused persons.
Earlier, the Delhi High Court had dismissed his bail plea in the same matter.
The Court dismissed his bail application.
