The Environment Law and Practice Review, NALSAR’s flagship Environment Law Journal is currently open for submissions for its 9th Volume. The deadline for abstract submissions is December 15, 2023, and authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by December 30, 2023. For those whose abstracts are accepted, the final deadline for Paper submissions is March 25, 2024. The 9th Volume of the Journal welcomes submissions from academicians, legal practitioners, students, and researchers from the legal community.

The research articles may focus on, but are not limited to, the suggested broad themes:

  1. Comparative Approaches in International Environmental Law

  2. International & Regional Environmental Governance

  3. Concept of Justice, Equity, Global Divide in Environmental Negotiations and Diplomacy

  4. Gender-related Approaches in Environmental Law

  5. Business, Trade and Environmental Law

  6. Environmental Law and Technology

  7. Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss

  8. Environmental Judicial Review systems

  9. Any other contemporary issues

The suggested themes are only suggestive — submissions may cover any issue in line with the theme. All submissions must conform to ELPR’s Submission Guidelines that may be found here. ELPR reserves the right to reject submissions that do not conform to the guidelines. Plagiarism in any form shall result in the rejection of the submission. The permissible limit of similarity as per Turnitin results is 15 percent.
