Mumbai’s prestigious Adv. Balasaheb Apte College Of Law has announced an online certificate course in Media And Communication Law. The Course will be for a duration of 2 months and an E-Certificate will be awarded to the enrolled students after successful completion of the course.

Media And Communication is emerging as a new area of litigation practice. With the advent of digital modes of communication, OTT platforms, media industry is blooming like never before. New age lawyers will have great advantage if they acquaint themselves with the jurisprudence and new trend in Media and Communication law. This course is aimed at introducing students and learners to this new field. The course curriculum covers all aspect of this field of study like press Laws, laws relating to films, broadcasting laws, telecommunication laws, laws relating to social media communication, Intellectual property law as it applies to media industry, other laws Affecting Media and communication and also the constitutional, jurisprudential foundation of media and communication law.

This course will be  conducted online. There will be 2 sessions per week wherein each session will be of One and a half hour. Fee for this course is INR 8,000. Learners enrolled for the course will get an opportunity to interact with some of the eminent industry experts. The inaugural session is going to be held on 14 October 2020 for which Former judge of the Bombay High court, Dr. Justice Shalini Phansalkar Joshi will be the chief guest. Registrations will be accepted till 14 October 2020.
