The Legal Aid Society, National Law University Odisha is proud to present AYUDA, 2018 – Odisha Inter-University Alliance for Legal Aid, a legal aid conclave for law and non-law colleges from across Odisha, to be held over a period of two days, from 5th October, 2018 – 6th October, 2018.
The objective of the conclave is to extend the reach of legal aid to even the most remote regions in Odisha, with the support and collaboration of the state’s law and non-law colleges and to mutually learn from each other’s ideas and experiences.
We aim to introduce the participants to the idea of legal aid and have them to contribute to our cause and ultimately culminate in the greater collaboration among the students of NLUO and different state colleges to help and support the cause of legal aid in the state of Odisha.
It is only with the aid of dedicated volunteers can we achieve the Constitutional dream of Legal Aid for the marginalised and hence we urge you to be a part of this event, so that we may achieve this dream together.
The two day event will comprise of workshops, interactive sessions, discussions, competitions and a field visit.
The Legal Aid Society of NLUO hopes that this conclave will be a step towards greater participation and will ultimately culminate in a legal aid platform with greater reach and access and thus we invite colleges from across the state to actively participate in the event.
