On 20.05.2015, the Central Government notified that the increased rate of Service tax i.e., 14% would become applicable from 01.06.2015. The Finance Act, 2015 which received the assent of the President on 14.05.2015 increased the rate of Service tax from 12% to 14%, which will become effective from the date notified by the Central Government.
