Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida is a premier Educational Institute affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. The college offers B.A. LLB (H), B.BA. About the Event

CCI- DME National Moot Court Competition 2023 is aimed towards ensuring that the students are made aware of the importance of Competition Law. Keeping the above in mind, the Moot Proposition has been made with a problem based upon Competition Law, since it is an emerging field and needs to be explored more by the members of the legal fraternity, especially the law students at the primary stage.

Eligibility:

  • Only regular students enrolled in a five-year integrated undergraduate law programme or three-year graduate law programme are eligible to register for the competition.

  • Each team shall comprise of maximum of 3 members consisting of 2 speakers and 1 researcher only.

Registration Details:

(a) The Pre-Registration for CCI- DME National Moot Court Competition-2023 begin from 11th February, 2023. Teams are required to complete their Pre-Registration by or before 15th March, 2023, 11:59 PM IST.

(b) The Pre-Registration can be done either by filling up the soft copy of the Application Form provided in the following link https://forms.gle/utvQMGQ4tdDYhKP39 or by filling the hard copy of the application form attached at the end of the brochure, (whichever is feasible) to the participating team.

(c) Once the Pre-Registration form is filled and Approval Letter from the Faculty Coordinator is received, the teams shall receive the confirmation of their provisional Registration from the DME Law School Moot Court Society.

(d) Once the teams receive their provisional confirmation, they will be required to make the payment of Rupees Thirty- Five Hundred Only (Rs. 3500/-) by or before 31st March, 2023 towards their final registration.

Last Date of Pre- Registration: 15th March, 2023

Last Date of Final-Registration and Payment of Registration Fee: 31st March, 2023

Awards and Accolades:

  • The Winning Team shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 50,000/- INR and 1 year subscription for all 3 members of SCC ONLINE.

  • The Runners-up Team shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 40,000/- INR and 1 year subscription for all 3 members of EBC ONLINE.

  • The Best Speaker (Male and Female) shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 5,000/- INR each.

  • The Best Memorial from both the teams shall be awarded a Trophy and cash prize of 5,000/- INR each.

  • The Best Researcher (Male and Female) shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 5,000/- INR each.

  • Memento to all the Semi Finalists.
