NGT issues notice to Centre, State and builders over illegal constructions and topsoil mining in Noida
The illegal constructions in Noida and Greater Noida were being done with topsoil, leading to large-scale illegal mining of the topsoil in and around the villages, resulting in deep, catastrophic pits.
