SLSH wins the best Memo Award at 4th Surana and Surana and University Institute of Legal Studies National Environmental Law Moot 2021


The team comprising Sanjana S, Adnan Hameed and Oishi Sen took part in the 4th Surana and Surana and University Institute of Legal Studies National Environmental Law Moot 2021, and won the Best Memorial Award. The competition was organized by the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, which was held from the 3rd – 5th of December 2021.

The team bagged the Best Memorial Award by competing against 50 other teams from esteemed law institutes all over India.

NLU, Delhi adjudged winners at 2nd NLIU-Khaitan International Negotiation Competition


The National Law University, Delhi team comprising Shubhankar Tiwari (IV year) and Kaartikay Agarwal (III year) has been adjudged as the Winners of the 2nd edition of the NLIU-Khaitan & Co. International Negotiation Competition, 2021. The competition was held from November 18, 2021 to November 21, 2021. The team had first made it through the CV qualifier rounds of the competition wherein a total of 24 universities were selected out of a staggering 82 applications from all over the world. The competition was organized by the Alternate Dispute Resolution Cell, NLIU in association with Khaitan & Co.  The finals were judged by an esteemed four member panel comprising Prof. John Lag[Director, Inter National Academy of Dispute Resolution, (INADR)], Chakrapani Misra [Partner, Khaitan & Co.], Spiridoula Georgiou [Attorney at Law, “Spiridoula Georgiou Law Firm, Greece] and Jayne Kuriakose [Disputes and Litigation Head: Asia, DXC Technology, Singapore].


CNLU emerged winners at 12th National Moot Court Competition, 2021


the team comprising of Kinjal Keya, Abhishek Nair and Aditya Pratap Singh, representing CNLU were declared winners at the 12th National Moot Court Competition, 2021 by School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University). They were also awarded the “Best Memorial” award.


HNLU wins the 2nd HPNLU National Moot Court Competition, 2021


An HNLU team comprising Aditya Rai, Vanya Francis and Anirudh Agrawal has been adjudged as the ‘winners‘ of the 2nd HPNLU National Moot Court Competition, 2021. The team also bagged the second-best memorial prize.

The competition was hosted virtually by HPNLU. The three-day competition was held from 29th to 31st October 2021. The moot was based on constitutional law.


Army Law School, Mohali wins Themis National Moot Court Competition, 2021


a team from the Army Institute of Law, Mohali consisting of Aakriti Gupta (5th year), Saksham Khunger (5th year) and Harsh (2nd year) won the Themis National Moot Court Competition, 2021. The team won a cash prize of R. 20,000/- and a 1-year subscription to SCC OnLine.

The moot was hosted virtually by Christ Lavasa, Pune from 10th to 12th December 2021. The moot prop was based on Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure Laws.

Aakriti Gupta also won the Best Student Advocate Award which came with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-.

School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) emerged winners at the Nani A Palkhiwala Memorial National Moot Court (Virtual) Competition, 2021


The team comprising of Priyakshi Kumra (Batch of 2022), Gurmehar Singh Chawla (Batch of 2022) and Samyak Dalal (Batch of 2022) has emerged as winners of Nani A Palkhiwala Memorial National Moot Court (Virtual) Competition, 2021 organized by Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai from 26th – 28th November 2021. The Moot Proposition revolved around reassessment proceedings under Income Tax Act, 1961.

The final round of the competition was adjudged by Hon’ble Mr. Justice J.K. Ranka, Former Judge, Rajasthan High Court and Hon’ble Dr. Justice Anita Sumanth, Judge, Madras High Court.
