Supreme Court issues notice to Lieutenant Governor regarding “Farishte Dilli Ke” scheme funds

Supreme Court: In a legal tussle between Delhi Government and Lieutenant Governor(‘LG’) on implementation of ‘Farishte Dilli Ke’ scheme, the division bench of BR Gavai and Sudhanshu Dhulia, JJ. while expressing surprise on why one wing of the Government keeps fighting with another wing, issued notices to LG Vinai Kumar Saxena, the Directorate General of Health Services of the Delhi government, and others concerning the plea by the Delhi Government.
