On 10-9-2025, the President of India, in exercise of powers under Article 217(1) of the Constitution appointment the following 6 Additional Judges as Permanent Judges for Bombay High Court:
(i) Justice Sanjay Anandrao Deshmulth,
(ii) Justice Vrushali Vijay Joshi,
(iii) Justice Abhay Jainarayanji Mantri,
(iv) Justice Shyam Chhaganlal Chandak,
(v) Justice Neeraj Pradeep Dhote
(vi) Justice Somasekhar Sundaresan
On 25-8-2025, the Supreme Court Collegium led by CJI B.R. Gavai, recommended the appointment of the Additional Judges as Permanent Judges for the High Courts of Bombay.
