As reported by PTI, An acid survivor filed a petition in Delhi High Court alleging that acid is still easily available in Delhi even after the Supreme Court’s guidelines regarding the said matter.
Delhi High Court’s Division Bench comprising of D.N. Patel, C.J. and C. Hari Shankar, J., sought the Government’s response on the same.
She has sought proper implementation of the Delhi Poisons Possession and Sales Rules, 2015 which impose restrictions on the sale of acid in the national capital.
