The “Kamla Sukul Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2025” was held with great distinction on 7th—8th November 2025 at Kamkus College of Law, Ghaziabad, in physical mode. Conceived as a tribute to the enduring legacy of Smt. Kamla Sukul, the competition brought together some of the finest young legal minds from across India. Eligibility was extended to students enrolled in full-time bachelor’s law programs at recognized Indian universities, ensuring a truly national participation. Open to bachelor’s law students from across India, the competition advanced through Preliminary, Quarter-final, Semi-final, and Grand Final rounds. Centered on the theme “Cyber Harassment, Virtual Conduct, and Criminal Accountability,” the event showcased sharp advocacy, intellectual brilliance, and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to excellence in legal education and constitutional values. The competition was further enriched by the support of SCC Online and Eastern Book Company, who joined as our esteemed knowledge partners.

B. Quarter-Final Rounds:
After the Preliminary Rounds, eight teams advanced to the Quarter-finals based on two criteria: first, the total number of wins, and second, the aggregate marks secured in the Preliminary Rounds.

A. Semi-Final Rounds:
Four teams that emerged victorious in the Quarter-final rounds, held on a knock-out basis, advanced to the Semi-finals.
B. Final Round:
The winner who won in the quarter-final rounds on a knock-out basis proceeded to the semi-final round. The final round was conducted between Faculty of Law, Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan (KSM-03), and Christ (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR (KSM-07).

* In the official brochure of the Moot Court Competition, the prize money was initially declared as ₹5,000 for the Winning Team, ₹3,000 for the Runner-up Team, and ₹1,000 each for the Best Speaker, Best Memorial, and Best Researcher, along with trophies and certificates. However, just a few days before the commencement of the event, our esteemed college mentor, Mr. Karunakar Sukul, graciously enhanced the prize amounts.
The revised prizes were set at ₹11,000 for the Winning Team, ₹5,000 for the Runner-up Team, and ₹2,000 each for the Best Speaker, Best Memorial, and Best Researcher. This generous extension was announced as a delightful surprise during the Prize Distribution Ceremony itself.
